We’re a little more than ninety minutes from kickoff in Minneapolis, and the Minnesota Vikings and Philadelphia Eagles have released their inactive lists for this afternoon’s contest. Let’s take a look at who will be sitting this one out on both sides.
Philadelphia Eagles
- TE Grant Calcaterra
- RB A.J. Dillon
- QB Sam Howell (emergency QB)
- OL Drew Kendall
- CB Mac McWilliams
Calcaterra was the only player the Eagles ruled out on their final injury report for the week. Doesn’t appear that there are any other big surprises for the visiting team. DL Jalen Carter, OL Landon Dickenson, and CB Quinyon Mitchell are all active
for Philadelphia.
Minnesota Vikings
- LB Chaz Chambliss
- DL Tyrion Ingram-Dawkins
- LB Kobe King
- QB J.J. McCarthy (emergency QB)
- OLB Andrew Van Ginkel
In a bit of a surprise for the Vikings, offensive tackle Brian O’Neill is active for this one and will resume his starting spot at right tackle. That means the Vikings will have four of their five projected starters back on the offensive line (Christian Darrisaw, Donovan Jackson, Will Fries, and O’Neill). I believe that Blake Brandel will be getting the start at center again in this one. But that’s good news for the Vikings.
Those are your inactive lists for today’s NFC clash at U.S. Bank Stadium, folks. We’ll have our first Open Thread of the afternoon dropping at 11:30 AM Central, and we hope that you’ll join us for today’s game!
