Cam’ron looks to the the latest mainstream star to get involved in the world of professional wrestling following a public back-and-forth with Roman Reigns and the Usos.
During the lead-up to WrestleMania 42, Jey appeared on Cam’ron’s It Is What It Is podcast, and he became physical with the rapper after he felt disrespected by earlier comments. Clips of the altercation—which was broken up by security, producers, and podcast co-host Treasure “Stat Baby” Wilson—immediately went viral on social media.
On Monday’s episode of Raw, Reigns admonished Jey for the scuffle, and his words didn’t sit right with Cam’ron.
On Wednesday, Cam’ron carried on the beef die by indicating he wants a piece of the Usos at SummerSlam in August. In a post on Instagram, he issued a challenge to the twin brothers, but he also took some pointed shots at their Tribal Chief.
The Instagram post included a video with a snippet of Reigns at Raw calling out Jey’s issues with “a washed-up ’90s rapper.” The IG video then cuts to Cam’ron directly addressing Reigns, who he calls “little dog.”
“You call me an old washed-up ’90s rapper? I was never washed. I’ll take you to the f***ing cleaners,” Cam’ron said in his message to the new WWE World Heavyweight Champion. “In the ’90s, I was rapping. 2000s, I was acting. 2010, I was getting money. Now, I own the most dangerous sports show in the world.”
He continued: “Bring your ass here. And who the f*** wins WrestleMania and then sits around for Raw? You know why? ’Cause you’re an employee and a sucker. You do what Triple H tells you to do.”
Cam’ron ended the video by calling on Triple H to book a match.
“But I get it. Triple H, I’ll tell you what: Get all the Usos. Let’s set this motherf***er up for SummerSlam,” he said.
The caption for his Instagram post contained further heated words for The Bloodline.
“All I can do is laugh at you @romanreigns staying for Monday Night Raw after WrestleMania is like eating thanksgiving leftovers on Monday after thxgvn. The Rock would Never,” he wrote.
“But you’re @tripleh lil lil employee. You better do what he says,” the 50-year-old rapper added. “@uceyjucey [Jey Uso] bring ya whole family and let’s settle this in August at #SummerSlam.”
