What is the story about?
The Pittsburgh Steelers have released linebacker Elandon Roberts. This comes after bringing Roberts back in the preseason, where he played well against the New York Jets and Buffalo Bills.
Roberts was with the Steelers from 2023-24, quickly becoming a fan-favorite, so it was universally praised from the fan base when he was signed earlier this month. To say this move is a shock would be an understatement.
It’s worth pointing out that Roberts is not subjected to waivers, so this could just be a temporary
move before bringing him back.
