Raphinha has been passed fit by Barcelona after several weeks out with a hamstring injury picked up on international duty with Brazil in the United States.
The Brazilian didn’t make it off the bench against Osasuna last time out but is expected to feature on Sunday when Barca face Real Madrid in El Clasico.
Speaking ahead of the game, Raphinha says that he’s not 100% yet but he is hoping for some minutes against Alvaro Arbeloa’s side.
“Physically… I’m recovering, I’m not 100% yet. Obviously, after coming
back from an injury, it will still take a few games to get back to 100% physically. But I’m fine, I feel good in training,” he told ESPN Brasil.
“Being sidelined is never good, especially for a player who likes to be on the field. Being sidelined due to injury is very difficult; I don’t feel very well when I’m hurt.
“There are still several days to prepare. I’ve been training well with the team since last week, doing full training sessions. I think I’ll be able to get some minutes, I want to play every game, but we have to know our limitations.”
Barcelona head into the match 11 points clear of their bitter rivals and knowing just a single point will be enough to be crowned champions again.
