It finally happened.
Roman Reigns came face-to-face with The 946.
The Usos had hit the ring in the main event of this week’s episode of Monday Night Raw in San Diego, calling the gang out to throw down right then and there. They got what they were asking for too, with Royce Keys, Carmelo Hayes, Lucien Price, and Bronco Nima hitting the scene.
The fisticuffs started when Solo Sikoa made a surprise appearance and knocked Keys off his feet on the announcer’s desk. Then he threw Hayes into him, and it seemed
The Bloodline were poised to come out ahead. But The 946 still had the numbers, and when they got ahead, Jaida Parker pulled out some handcuffs and it looked like bad was headed for worse in a hurry.
And then that music hit.
The roof came off the joint.
The Tribal Chief, Roman Reigns, who was shown leaving the arena earlier in the night following his confrontation with WWE Champion Sami Zayn ahead of their Crown Jewel match, came walking toward the ring dripping in aura:
Credit to every member of The 946 for their facial expressions after that music hit the loudspeakers. It really made the moment feel so much more important, and is a big part of what gives Roman his aura.
The Bloodline came out ahead of the ensuing confrontation, with The 946 retreating through the crowd. This was just a small taste of what is to come, and clearly War Games at Survivor Series is where we are headed.
After this, I’m ready for it.
You?
