Bayern Munich’s 2-2 draw with Arsenal came with a potential injury concern, as both Kim Min-jae and Luis Díaz were forced off with physical issues.
However, Vincent Kompany has offered some initial optimism regarding the duo’s fitness, suggesting that neither player appears to have suffered a major injury.
“I hope they won’t be out for a long time, maybe less than a week. We have to take a look at the tests and then we’ll know more. I think we can rule out any major injury,” Kompany said (as captured

While Bayern will await the results of further medical examinations before determining the exact extent of their problems, the head coach’s comments provide encouragement that both players could avoid lengthy spells on the sidelines.
For now, the priority will be ensuring that Kim and Díaz recover fully without taking unnecessary risks. Bayern will be hoping the tests confirm Kompany’s initial assessment, allowing both players to return to action sooner rather than later.
After the game, Díaz told reporters this about his injury (Sky Germany’s Kerry Hau via @iMiaSanMia): “It’s nothing serious.”
The next update will be crucial, but Bayern have reason to be cautiously optimistic.
