The Cleveland Browns get a strange 4:25 PM start for this week’s matchup with the Baltimore Ravens. Few are surprised that the Browns are big underdogs heading into this Week 11 matchup despite the Ravens ruling a number of players out on Friday. Baltimore is competing for the AFC North title while Cleveland fans are focused primarily on the NFL draft.
A lot of the talk around the Browns is centered on quarterbacks. Dillon Gabriel has struggled, but assuming that Shedeur Sanders will thrive in the same
environment is putting a lot of stock in a fifth-round pick coming out of a simplified college offense.
Late Sunday afternoon’s weather could play a big role in the outcome of the game. The betting line has already dropped a full point, with Cleveland just a 7.5-point underdog, and the over/under line has dropped four points to just 37.5.
The total is the lowest in this week’s slate of games on Sunday afternoon.
As of now, Lamar Jackson and Gabriel, as well as the field goal kickers, will be dealing with 20-mile-an-hour winds all game with gusts almost twice that. While rain is a possibility, the weather is always a little more extreme coming off of Lake Erie, so it will be interesting to see how both teams deal with it, especially the wind.
