As the Pittsburgh Steelers begin gearing up for Week 2 against the New England Patriots, it remains unclear if Joey Porter Jr will be on the field come Sunday.
Ahead of Wednesday’s practice, head coach Mike McCarthy was asked what the plan would be for Porter in practice this week, and if he would be a full participant.
“The plan is to move forward with Joey and see how much more he can do next,” McCarthy said via Nick Farabaugh. It remains unclear if Porter was a full participant, though videos have
surfaced of him on the practice field. We’ll know for sure the level of Porter’s participation when the injury report is released later on in the day.
