The Golden State Warriors will face the Orlando Magic on Monday night. The game will be played at 7:00 PM PT in San Francisco and can be watched on NBC Sports Bay Area.
Previously with the Warriors:
Golden State bounced back in a big way on Saturday night, avenging its recent loss to the Phoenix Suns with a 119–116 win at the Chase Center. The rematch was filled
with emotion, highlighted by Draymond Green being ejected after picking up two technical fouls early in the second quarter.
Despite the adversity, the Warriors responded behind strong performances from Steph Curry and Jimmy Butler, who carried the offensive load with 28 and 25 points, respectively, to help snap the team’s three-game losing streak.
What to watch for tonight:
The Warriors will look to build momentum from Saturday’s home win as they try to climb back to .500 against the Magic. One player who could help sustain that energy is rookie wing Will Richard.
After not seeing the floor in the previous three games, Richard made the most of his opportunity against Phoenix, scoring 20 points off the bench on 6-of-7 shooting, including four made three-pointers. The second-round rookie has consistently made an impact whenever called upon this season — something he credits to always staying ready for his moment.
