Today, the Houston Dash announced midfielder Sophie Schmidt was placed on the SEI list after suffering a knee injury in the second half of Houston’s match against San Diego on Sept. 7
Schmidt underwent successful knee surgery earlier in the week and will remain in Houston for her recovery with the team’s medical team.
The CANWNT legend has played a huge role on and off the pitch for the Houston Dash. The team are currently unbeaten (3-3-0) in the past six matches, just three points below the playoff
line.
