Michael Page left UFC London on a three-fight winning streak, but he’s not satisfied with the way his welterweight clash with Sam Patterson went at the O2 Arena. Booed by the local crowd and reportedly the reason why Dana White left the arena, Page took to social media to comment on the fan backlash.

I aim to give, and I know people expect more. I expect more from myself too. Sometimes styles clash and it becomes more tactical than explosive, but I’m not here to be in boring fights. That’s not who I am.”
Page now has four victories in five octagon appearances, which includes a pair of middleweight victories against Shara Magomedov and Jared Cannonier, but the London star hasn’t finished an opponent since his final appearance under the Bellator banner, shattering Goiti Yamauchi’s knee with a kick.
“I respect the opportunity the UFC has given me to compete at the highest level, and I’m here to prove that every time I step in there,” Page continued in his statement. “Appreciate everyone who continues to support me. Respect to my opponent. Back to work. On to the next.”
The UFC has yet to announce what’s next for Page, who improved to 25-3 as a professional with the victory. Read his full statement below.
