Conor McGregor is in the midst of his long-awaited UFC comeback and he’s pulling no punches when it comes to training, even at the expense of some helpless sparring partners.
Now that McGregor is back in UFC’s drug-testing pool and angling for a spot on next year’s White House card, his training efforts have ramped up. That’s not to say “Notorious” hasn’t tried to stay in shape when he isn’t spending money and taking trips on his yacht, but the former UFC double champion appears to be leveling up.
During a recent trip to Italy, McGregor hit a local gym to get in some vacation sparring. Unfortunately for some of the inexperienced talent at the gym, “Notorious” didn’t pull many punches when the action unfolded. The Irish star wasn’t looking to knock anyone out, but he was beating up on some unsuspecting amateurs nonetheless.

McGregor, who hasn’t competed since injuring his leg in a trilogy fight with Dustin Poirier back in July 2021, is known to have hard sparring sessions. Maybe the former UFC champion should have taken it a little easier on these Italian punching bags, but they knew what they were signing up for.
UFC middleweight contender Paulo Costa approved of McGregor’s efforts and even called for “Notorious” to “knock that kid out cold.” Check it out below:
