On3 has published its way-too-early top 100 college football players for the 2026 season list. The list consists of the 100 players the On3 staff thinks will stand out the most during the 2026 season.
Two Rutgers football players made their way onto the list.
The first of the two Rutgers players to appear on the list was wide receiver KJ Duff. Duff came in at No.50, just behind Indiana wide receiver Omar Cooper and ahead of Iowa offensive tackle Trevor Lauck.
Last season, Duff had 60 catches for 1,084 yards and seven touchdowns, while averaging 18.1. His 6-foot-6,225 pound frame, accompanied by his speed, makes him a preferred target for whoever is throwing him the ball next season. He also set himself apart as a true deep threat, giving the Knights a weapon to take the top off the defense.
His best game of the season last year came against Purdue, where he caught the ball 6 times for 241 yards and 1 touchdown.
Running back Antwan Raymond was the second Rutgers football player to be named to the list, coming in at No. 87. He was ranked just ahead of Miami running back Mark Fletcher and just behind Notre Dame quarterback CJ Carr. Last season, Raymond ran the ball 244 times for 1,241 rushing yards and 13 touchdowns. He also added 18 catches for 225 yards and two touchdowns. His accomplishments gave Rutgers its third season in a row with a 1,000-yard rusher.
These two sophomores have already been named to the PFF list of the top 101 players across college football. On top of that, players in college usually tend to break out the most during their junior/senior seasons anyway, meaning that Rutgers fans could be in store for something even more special than what they have already witnessed. Expect these two to make plenty more preseason watchlists based on their dominant performance last season.
