Barcelona star Raphinha is hoping to return in time for the next Clasico in May after being sidelined for five weeks with a hamstring injury picked up on international duty.
The forward has already begun treatment and is undergoing two sessions a day with a view to being fit in time for the game against Real Madrid at Camp Nou on May 10th, according to ESPN.
Raphinha is set to miss some key games over the next few weeks – against Atletico in La Liga and the Champions League – but the hope is that he could
be fit to face Los Blancos again.
Barcelona currently top the table by four points from Real Madrid, meaning the meeting between the two teams could be crucial in deciding where the title ends up.
In the meantime, Barcelona will have to cope without their brilliant Brazilian, and the focus will be on players such as Marcus Rashford, Fermin Lopez, Dani Olmo and Ferran Torres to step up during his absence.
