Those of you who have been dying to see Xavier Resterpo on the field for the Tennessee Titans are going to get your wish tomorrow. Paul Kuharsky tweeted earlier that Restrepo will be active tomorrow in the game against the Seattle Seahawks. Restrepo was very productive at Miami with Cam Ward throwing him the ball, but I wouldn’t count on that same level of production at the NFL level.
There is no doubt that Ward and Restrepo have chemistry. Last season, Restrepo had 69 catches for 1,127 yards and 11
touchdowns. He led the ACC in both yards and touchdowns, but he went undrafted in last April’s draft. The Titans signed him as an undrafted free agent. He hasn’t been able to crack the active roster until now, and any NFL team could have signed him to their active roster to this point.
I hope he goes out there and has 100 yards and two touchdowns tomorrow, but that probably isn’t going to happen. My guess is that he plays 10-15 snaps and probably gets a couple of targets. I’m predicting two catches for 15 yards. What’s your projection for Restrepo?
