The Tennessee Titans’ journey to the Super Bowl starts tonight with their preseason opener against the San Francisco 49ers. Robert Saleh said this week that everyone who is healthy will be playing in the game tonight. The starters could see a couple of series.
I caution you not to get too high or too low on this team based on what you see tonight. The preseason means absolutely nothing when it comes to wins and losses in the regular season. The more important thing tonight will be watching the guys
who are fighting to make the back half of the roster.
One guy I will be watching closely is rookie running back Nick Singleton. He was a guy who reportedly stood out in practice against the 49ers. The division of carries amongst the running backs should still be up in the air. If Singleton can add a dynamic presence to the rotation, he could be in line to get a lot of carries this season.
