Super Bowl 60 is over and the Las Vegas Raiders have a champion in their locker room, officially hiring former Seattle Seahawks offensive coordinator Klint Kubiak as head coach earlier this week. This also means the 2025 season is complete, and it’s time to crown a winner for our Silver and Black Pride Pick’em competition! So, let’s get to the awards.

I’ve had the writers’ championship locked up for a few
weeks, and all three of us pick the Seahawks to win, so there’s no drama here. That being said, going 0-2 during the Conference Championships will haunt me forever, as that cost me a chance at the overall crown. Regardless, I look forward to defending my title against Ray and Bill next year, and I’m coming back with a vegence to win it all!

Congrats to JeepRaider for winning the 2025 Silver and Black Pride Pick’em competition! We had a lot of back and forth at the top of the standings throughout the season, but Jeep was consistently in the mix and has held first place for a few weeks now. It was a tight competition that came down to the Super Bowl, with Freddy B Good falling just one game short of becoming a co-champion.
Thank you to everyone who participated in this year’s competition. This is my favorite community-building activity we do every year at Silver and Black Pride, as I enjoy making picks and competing with y’all throughout the season. Now, it’s time for all of us to band together and make sure JeepRaider doesn’t repeat next year!
