Portland Trail Blazers guard Jrue Holiday has been upgraded to doubtful to play versus the Houston Rockets on Friday at the Moda Center, the organization announced.
Holiday has missed 26 consecutive games
due to a right calf strain. He last appeared on the court during Portland’s 140-116 loss to the Rockets on Nov. 14.
Jerami Grant, Kris Murray, Scoot Henderson, Matisse Thybulle, Blake Wesley and Damian Lillard have all been ruled OUT for Friday’s matchup with Houston.

Initially, the Blazers announced on Nov. 21 that Holiday would be re-evaluated in 1-2 weeks due to the calf strain. The organization then provided this update on Jan. 1:
Portland Trail Blazers guard Jrue Holiday has been cleared for a progression of on-court basketball activities as he continues his return-to-play process. Availability will be determined based on functional response to loading and updated accordingly.
In 12 appearances this season, all starts, Holiday has averaged 16.7 points, 8.3 assists, and 5.3 rebounds while shooting 36.5% on 3s.
The Blazers tip off against the Rockets on Friday at 7 p.m. Pacific.
