Barcelona were linked with Nicolo Tresoldi in the summer transfer window but ultimately opted against making a move for the striker and brought in Gabriel Jesus instead.
According to reporter Florian Plettenberg, Barcelona did hold “concrete interest” in the attacker but did not want to meet his price tag of €50 million.
Tresoldi has gone on to enjoy a great start to the season for club and country, scoring seven goals in just nine league appearances for his club in 2026-27.
The 22-year-old has also shone in the Champions League, bagging a hat-trick against Inter in a thrilling 4-3 win over Nerazzurri at San Siro.
Tresoldi also took home the match ball last time out, scoring three times against St Truiden to continue his prolific start to the campaign.
So today’s Barca Blaugranes Question of the Day is:
Would you like to see Barcelona bring in Nicolo Tresoldi?
