How fun is this? While we are going to write about the Cleveland Browns NFL draft positioning, it isn’t about the Cleveland Browns being bad. Instead, with the Browns having the Los Angeles Rams’ first-round pick in the 2027 NFL draft, “Rams Watch” is squarely on. DE Myles Garrett is on injured reserve and may not be back soon, and Los Angeles lost again in Week 3.
For the Browns, NFL playoff positioning is far more interesting, especially because a win on Thursday Night Football would vault them
into first place in the AFC North.
For the Rams, starting out 1-2 by blowing a big halftime lead on Sunday Night Football has been exacerbated by their Week 1 trip to Australia and injuries to WR Puka Nacua and Garrett. Their draft positioning, with only three games in the books, is highly dependent on tiebreakers at this point.
Right now, 17 teams have one win or are winless. The 1-1 Chicago Bears could move that number down one with a victory over the 2-0 Philadelphia Eagles on Monday Night Football, but Caleb Williams will miss a few weeks due to injury.
As of now, the Browns would own the 15th and 18th picks in the first round of the 2027 NFL draft, according to Tankathon.
