What is the story about?
The Portland Fire (12-19) end their five game homestand against the last-place Seattle Storm (6-27) at 5:30pm Pacific. The Fire have won both of their previous two meetings, but are just small favorites in this one despite the Storm having lost their last ten in a row.
Portland will look to build off Thursday’s 97-83 win over the Toronto Tempo. Point Guard Carla Leite was the star with 27 points and 11 assists, her six double-double of the season.
Bridget Carleton and Teja Oblak are listed as probable
on the injury report for the Fire, along with Sarah Ashlee Barker and Sania Feagin who are out. The Storm show Katie Lou Samuelson as questionable, and Taina Mair is out.
