In what is highly expected, and minimally surprising, in an on-field interview after the game had concluded, offensive coordinator of the Super Bowl champion Seattle Seahawks Klint Kubiak confirmed he is leaving for Las Vegas.
This had been anticipated since Kubiak met with Mark Davis, the owner of the Las Vegas Raiders, on Saturday
of the bye week between the Super Bowl and NFC Championship Game, and became all but a formality.
For those who had wondered whether Kubiak might have some reservations about becoming the fifth different non-interim head coach for the Raiders this decade, there seems to be no doubt in his, “Hell yeah, I’m going. Of course I’m going.” response.
Thus, it now becomes a matter of waiting to see which members of both the offensive and defensive staff Kubiak might take with him to Las Vegas in order for the Seahawks to build out their 2026 coaching staff.
