The Las Vegas Raiders are dealing with a new injury as backup right guard Jackson Powers-Johnson missed Thursday’s practice with a back injury.
He practiced Wednesday without any reported issues. Powers-Johnson has been a backup to Caleb Rogers the past two games. Raiders’ coach Klint Kubiak said Wednesday someone else could get a chance to play, causing speculation that rookie Trey Zuhn could play over Rogers.
Reserve defensive end Patrick Johnson missed his second day of practice this week with a stinger
he suffered in a Week 7 loss. They were the only two Raiders’ players not to rpactice Thursday.
Raiders’ tight end Brock Bowers (calf), defensive end Kwity Paye (rest) and linebacker Quay Walker (chest) all went from limited Wednesday to full practice participants Thursday.
For the Jets, rookie star pass-rusher David Bailey (groin) didn’t practice for the second straight day. Running back Breece Hall, who has missed the past several games with a quad injury, was limited for the second straight day.
