Jules Kounde’s future is once again the subject of speculation amid claims that Premier League giants are sniffing around the Barcelona star ahead of the summer transfer window.
Interest in Kounde is nothing new, even though he has signed a contract until 2030, with the latest update claiming Manchester City, Liverpool and Chelsea are all keen.
Mundo Deportivo say that “it’s no secret” at Barcelona that Kounde is “a highly sought-after player” and that the club are keeping a close eye on the situation.
While the club have Kounde locked down to a long-term contract, the feeling is that if a hefty offer were to come along then it’s possible he could depart.
There’s a vague suggestions that Liverpool could be willing to splash out around €80 million on Kounde, a fee that Barcelona would find hard to turn down.
Yet Kounde would also then have to agree the move, and there’s no indication of whether he’s interested in moving to the Premier League.
The Frenchman previously turned down the chance to join Chelsea in favor of signing for Barcelona and has always said he’s happy at Camp Nou.
