I made fun of Andrew for going 3-13 in Week 2. He did not improve on the win total but did improve the winning percentage by going 3-9. However, I joined him at the same mark as penance for my bullying. You ruffians in the Commentariat cannot say much since your combined brain power only went 4-8. Everyone else did really well. Christian and Tom were 7-5 to trail Import at 8-4. Cole was again stellar at 9-3. Overall, the staff went 37-35 which gets us to 156-162 on the season.
The real twists in Week
3 were Kentucky winning as an underdog at Texas A&M, Alabama letting Florida State get back within 20.5 late, Troy staying close to Missouri, Texas letting UTSA stay within 30.5, and Tennessee not quite stomping Kennessaw State by enough to cover 35.5.
Conference play begins in earnest with only 2 non-conference games as Kentucky and Arkansas play South Alabama and Tulsa, respectively. There are 7 SEC-SEC games. We are fairly decisive this week, too. There are 4 unanmious games on the 10-game slate. There are 2 more games that only 1 person disagreed with the rest, and the last 4 games do have a majority.
Feel free to use this as an open thread for Vanderbilt volleyball’s math with #3 Kentucky. The Dores are undefeated but unranked. They won set 1 25-21 but lost set 2 25-17.
