A few short years ago, Kadyn Proctor was a 5-star prospect who was coming in and winning the starting left tackle job for Nick Saban at Alabama at the start of his true freshman season. It was a tough year for the jumbo freshman, but one that he built on as he cut his pressures down from 36 to 21 and his sacks allowed from 12 to 3 in year two, then continued to improve in year three.
At 6’7” 350+ with exceptional athleticism, Proctor has always had extreme potential, and his steady improvement each
year is ultimately what pushed him up into the 1st round despite a lack of consistently dominant production. Oh, and he even got to have a few trick plays to show off his big man movement skills this last season.
The Dolphins are mostly resetting their team and roster this off-season, so building that new roster from the trenches first is a great place for them to start.
Roll Tide!
