We’re a little over one week from the startof football season and with classes in session Purdue is starting to get in game mode. One are where it is looking for improved performance is along the defensive line, where a wealth of transfer is looking to have a major impact.
First, we have defensive line coach Kelvin Green who talks about his rebuilt unit and his expectations for the front line of the defense.
Next we have Rodney Lora, who is in his first year at Purdue after spending two years at North
Carolina and one at Central Florida. He had 22 tackles, 3.5 for loss, a sack, and a fumble recovery last year for the Knights.
Finally, we have Ian Jeffries today. Jeffries had a modest season in 2025 for Purdue, starting six games and notching 20 tackles, 3 for loss, and a sack agaisnt Minnesota in October. Both Jeffries and Lora are looking to become the next great pass rushersfrom Purdue.
