Bayern Munich had a rousing start to its 2025/26 campaign and it was impressive to many fans and onlookers.
To have some fun with that dominant first half, let’s try to put a song lyric (or lyrics) attached to the team’s performance (or some aspect of the team’s performance).
For this guy, the following line from “When the Levee Breaks” by Led Zeppelin defined how Bayern Munich’s attack overwhelmed just about everyone in its path:
“Crying won’t help you, praying won’t do you no good”
In the case of many
opponents, there was just simply nothing they could do to prevent the Bayern Munich attack from wreaking havoc.
How about you? What song lyric do you think defined Bayern Munich’s first half of the season or any aspect of the first half of the season?
