It’s gameday… and judgement day.
The Notre Dame Fighting Irish need a win to keep its national championship hopes alive. As desperate and urgent as that sounds… Notre Dame currently has the 2nd best odds inthe country of doing just that. However… they have to get a win over Miami today to get anywhere near that goal.
For all of the narrative changes Notre Dame has gone under during the Marcus Freeman era, they allowed the “can’t win a big game” narrative to come back into our lives. The Irish have
lost 3 games during the past two seasons by a grand total of 8 points — so we’re not toalking about BK levels of not winning the big game, but they are still L’s.
The Irish can take care of so much of that tonight with a big win over No. 1 Miami. You can just feel how much this rivalry has come back into the lives of both fanbases — and the hate is flowing.
I love it. Let’s go have some fun tonight y’all.
