The Arizona Cardinals are coming off a hard hitting, punishing and embarrassing loss to the reigning Super Bowl champions.
So naturally things are going well.
Will Johnson is likely done for the season, Garrett Williams has yet to play a snap of football in 2026, and now on day one of the injury report for the week, Max Melton was out due to an injury to his toe.
On top of that, the groin injury that nagged Roy Lopez last week is still lingering and that reads really bad for this defense against maybe the best offense in the NFC so far.
The battle of the rest DNP’s was interesting as well, as both teams are giving a lot of veteran players Wednesday off.
We will closely follow the situation with Melton and Lopez, as well as keeping an eye on Froholdt, who popped up with a knee.
