LSU (2-0) may not have been all that impressive in last night’s 23-7 win over Louisiana Tech, but the Tigers still look care of business and as a result hang on to its No. 3 ranking in the latest AP Poll.
This week’s top-3 is the same as last week’s with Ohio State, Penn State and LSU leading the way. Oregon jumped up to number 4 after scoring about a billion points against Oklahoma State, while Georgia slipped down to six after looking not-so-hot in its 28-6 win over Austin Peay.
The biggest loser
this week is Florida as the Gators fall all the way out of the top 25 after getting upset by South Florida. That, obviously, means this week’s LSU vs. Florida game won’t be a ranked vs. ranked game, but it also kept Baton Rouge from hosting College Gameday this week. Instead the crew will head to Knoxville for Georgia vs. Tennessee.
