Forecasting the Chiefs’ first hiccup
Chiefs fans are feeling pretty good about their team right now, but the record can’t be perfect forever… or can it?
Nearly half of the voters in this week’s poll see the Chiefs’ Week 7 matchup against the defending Super
Bowl Champion Seattle Seahawks as the most likely spot for the Chiefs to lose their first game, but overall, nearly 80% of polled fans see the team staying unbeaten through the next two games against AFC West opponents.
You would be hard-pressed to find a Chiefs fan unhappy with a 5-0 start and a 5-1 record heading into a Week 8 matchup against the Denver Broncos for a chance to sweep them for the season. Bottom line, a 5-0 start would give the Chiefs at least a split of every AFC matchup, and it would set them up to go on a run to try and win back the division.
Confidence level through three games
Confidence dips slightly for Chiefs fans this week, and this number is due to move again — up or down — based on the result in Las Vegas.
