The Toronto Blue Jays beat the Cleveland Guardians last night.
It was a game that does not need to be revisited by us fans any time soon.
But at least we got to watch Austin Hedges pitch.
In all seriousness, the Guardians are still (at the time of writing), 3.5 games behind the Chicago White Sox in the division and only 1.5 games ahead of the Rangers for the final Wild Card spot. They absolutely need to pull themselves together and shake of last night’s game. With Detroit coming to town for four games,
there is a great opportunity to stay in win column, but just as easily is there the opportunity to wash away all playoff hopes.
