Welcome to SB Nation Reacts, a survey of fans across the NFL. Throughout the year we ask questions of the most plugged-in Steelers fans and fans across the country.
The Pittsburgh Steelers take on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday, but are limping in with the injuries to Michael Pittman Jr. and Roman Wilson. The Steelers look to notch their first win on the road while still perfect at home, but a critical stretch begins on Sunday as the AFC North will be tightly contested between all four teams.
Following the Bucs, the Steelers take on another NFC South opponent, the New Orleans Saints, with back-to-back divisional matchups with the Bengals and Browns before an interstate battle with the Philadelphia Eagles. A realistic finish of 3-2 through the five games puts the Steelers at 6-4, but getting greedy isn’t a bad idea, and taking down one or both of their division matchups puts the Steelers in prime position to win the division.
The offensive line has played well with bookend tackles Troy Fantanu and Max Iheanchor. Mason McCormick and Zach Frazier have been great on the interior. Jaylen Warren is on an absolute tear with eyes on a continued workhorse role even with the return of Rico Dowdle.
Are you confident in the Steelers?
As we do every week, we polled Steelers fans if they are confident in the direction the Steelers are heading. 49 percent of fans voted yes after their 34-22 win over the Colts.
A win on Sunday against the Buccaneers would push Pittsburgh to 4-2, and likely push that 49 percent number even higher.
