Football:
It will be a packed Doak Campbell Stadium this Saturday as the game has officially sold out; if you still need a ticket you need to hope someone is selling but rather than scalpers FSU’s official secondary ticket market might have you covered because there’s no more exciting way for FSU to start the season than to host the 8th-ranked Crimson Tide of Alabama.
It’s officially game week which means if you spent all of the offseason ignoring FSU football in a way to wash 2024 from your mouth we’ve got you covered. In one spot check out all of Tomahawknation’s position previews, schedule previews, schematic deep-dives, and realistic expecations for the currently unknown 2025 Seminoles.
Not completely unknown as we have been given the first iteration of the 2025 Depth Chart.
WR Jayvan Boggs will be starting as a true freshman; he’s lived up to the hype of his high school career so far at FSU and that has earned him the chance to make an impact on day one.
Tamorrion Terry, Travis Rudolph and Rashad Greene are the last true freshman to make a significant impact at wide receiver; Terry had 35 catches for 744 yards and 8 touchdowns; Greene caught 38 balls for 598 yards and 7 touchdowns while Rudolph recorded 38 catches for 555 yards and 4 touchdowns.
The offensive philosophy has changed significantly since then so I would not expect those kinds of numbers from Boggs.
Recruiting:
FSU is working hard to flip four-star OT Johnnie Jones from UCLA and four-star edge rusher Asharri Charles from Miami. Both will be on campus this weekend.
Three-star WR target Jonah Winston will announce his commitment this Saturday; Hoover was overmatched against IMG Academy this weekend but Winston was not:
