After picking up a dominant win to kick off the SEC Tournament yesterday, Coach Kenny Brooks and the Kentucky Wildcats are back in action today, taking on Georgia.
Kentucky dominated from start-to-finish in its 94-64 win over Arkansas yesterday, with six different players scoring in double figures. Things get much tougher today though, as Kentucky takes on the 8-seed Georgia.
Kentucky and Georgia met only once during the regular season, as Georgia came to Lexington on January 24 and defeated the Wildcats
inside Historic Memorial Coliseum as part of a three-game losing streak for Kentucky to end the month of January.
Of course, Kentucky was without senior forward Teonni Key in that game due to an injury, so having Key healthy could certainly be a difference-maker in today’s matchup.
It’s another early tip-off today, as action gets underway at 11 a.m. ET. The winner of today’s game will advance to take on the 1-seed South Carolina in the tournament quarterfinals.

It’s hard to believe they’re taking him off the pregame.
