Oasis is coming to the Allianz Arena, proving once again that Bayern Munich’s home can be more than just a place for football.
And if Oasis can take over the stadium, it got us thinking: Which active artist or band would YOU want to see perform at the Allianz Arena?
There are plenty of obvious rock choices — Pearl Jam, Metallica, The Rolling Stones, and Foo Fighters, could all put on enormous shows in Munich.
But why limit this to rock (even though this writer would prefer the genre)?

Swift bringing the hordes of Swifties to the Allianz Arena. Beyoncé (or maybe Cowboy Carter or both) could turn the stadium into a massive production. Bruno Mars could have 75,000 people dancing, while Adele could probably make the entire place very quiet for a few hours (which could be good or bad).
For hip-hop, how about Drake, Kendrick Lamar, Eminem, or Jay-Z? Electronic music opens up another completely different possibility with a variety of artists.
And then there are artists from other corners of the musical universe — Bad Bunny for reggaeton and Latin music, Chris Stapleton for country, Lady Gaga for pop…it’s an open book.
Heck, maybe you want to see the Backstreet Boys (there is one of you out there, step forward!)?
