On the latest episode of WWE Raw, the angle between Seth Rollins and his former faction The Vision gave us an army of masked men. That wasn’t the only way they stalled while waiting to see who’s healthy enough to book against who for WrestleMania 42 in a little more than five weeks.
During Netflix’s stream of Raw last night (March 9), lead announcer Michael Cole also informed us that due to injuries suffered in Rollins’ attack on him last week, the Vision manager whose name is Paul Heyman is out indefinitely.
The Visionary took a chair to the WWE Hall of Famer’s back like he was a member of The Shield*, then stomped him into the canvas before LA Knight appeared to kidnap him in an ambulance.
Knight must have eventually delivered Heyman to the emergency room, because Cole had his diagnosis: cervical spine contusion, facial lacerations, and a deviated septum.
This fits nicely into reports about WWE’s approach to plans for ‘Mania on April 18-19. If Bron Breakker is good to go, he gets Rollins. If not, the Heyman-issued open challenge for Brock Lesnar is there for him. If Breakker is ready, Knight becomes an option for Brock.
It may be plan C or whatever, but it works.
