Who knows what is next for the Cleveland Browns head coach search? On Monday alone, the team brass flew out to California to interview the final known candidate on their list, Nate Scheelhaase. Then, Jacksonville
Jaguars OC Grant Udinski, believed to be one of the two favorites for the Browns head coaching job, pulled his name from consideration (generally a sign that he is aware he is not getting offered the job).
During a day-long interview with Scheelhaase out west, news broke that the Buffalo Bills were interested in interviewing him as well, followed by news that he would interview with them Monday night.
Despite what has been reported to be a multi-hour interview with Scheelhaase, Cleveland did not announce that they had hired the Los Angeles Rams pass game coordinator as their new head coach Monday night, just that they had completed their second interview with him:
With the Bills scheduled to interview Scheelhaase “tonight,” according to multiple reports, the Browns may have some time to offer him the job and get an acceptance before he talks to Buffalo. For now, Cleveland fans continue to wait.
What do you make of the team announcing the second interview, but no reports of a job offer or hiring following it?
