The Arizona Cardinals are bringing back former TCU defensive lineman and first-round draft pick L.J. Collier on a one-year deal worth a reported $2.5 million. Collier, taken 29th overall by the Seattle Seahawks in 2019, has played in 67 games over seven NFL seasons, racking up 77 tackles, 6.5 sacks and one fumble recovery. Collier spent four years with the Seahawks before moving on to Arizona in 2023, where he’s played for three years.
The 30-year-old had his best professional season in 2024, playing in all 17 games and posting 29 tackles with 3.5 sacks and two pass breakups. Collier, who has seven pass breakups for his career, was an All-Big 12 First Team selection in 2019 after being an AP Second-Team All-Big 12 choice in 2018. At TCU, Collier played in 41 games and totaled 79 tackles, 19.5 tackles for loss, 13.5 sacks, six pass breakups and one interception.
