The expectations and pressure were at an all-time high for the Cincinnati Bengals entering the 2026 season after missing the playoffs for three straight years.
Although it is still incredibly early, the Bengals’ revamped roster has shown up and executed at a winning level.
The Bengals are 2-0 with a healthy Joe Burrow for the first time in the Zac Taylor era, and the defense has been lights out through the first two weeks.
One of the biggest reasons for the early success is the new additions on the defensive
side that are not only veterans but also Super Bowl champions.
The front office brought in Boye Mafe and Bryan Cook, two guys that have won Super Bowls at their previous stops in the NFL.
The Bengals also have another guy on the roster who has Super Bowl experience as well, and that is left tackle Orlando Brown Jr.
Brown recently had an interview with Casino.org and shared that he believes this is a Super Bowl-caliber roster and a roster that is even better than the one he was a part of on the Chiefs.
“To be honest, this is nothing like I’ve ever been a part of,” Brown said. “We are very unique in so many different ways when I look at our offense, defense, and special teams units. I’ve never been a part of anything like this.”
