Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson was a full participant in practice on Wednesday for the first time since suffering a high ankle sprain in Week 4.
Jackson, 29, missed the next two games and returned to practice last week in a limited capacity. He participated all three days and was initially listed as questionable for Sunday’s matchup with the Cincinnati Bengals before being ruled out on Saturday.
Jackson’s upgrade on Wednesday is an early sign that he could be available for the Ravens’ Week
8 matchup against the Buffalo Bills. Full participation in all three days would strongly indicate that he is ready to play, though a short week before next Thursday’s matchup with the Jacksonville Jaguars could also play into the decision.
Here is the Ravens’ full Wednesday injury report:
Full participation
- TE Mark Andrews (hand)
- OLB Trey Hendrickson (finger)
- TE Matthew Hibner (hand)
- QB Lamar Jackson (full)
- RB Adam Randall (neck, designated to return from IR)
Limited participation
- NT John Jenkins (knee)
- LG John Simpson (groin)
- LT Ronnie Stanley (rest/toe/ankle)
- CB T.J. Tampa (knee, designated to return from IR)
- DT Broderick Washington (ankle)
Did not participate
- DL Calais Campbell (rest)
- S Kyle Hamilton (knee)
- S Jaylinn Hawkins (knee)
- RG Vega Ioane (knee)
- LB Roquan Smith (knee)
Like the Bengals last week, the Bills are coming off a bye going into their matchup with the Ravens. They are still dealing with a handful of injuries, but only right tackle Spencer Brown was held out of Wednesday’s practice. He has been playing through a back injury and told reporters this week that he “took enough drugs to sedate a small elephant” to face the Raiders in Week 5.
