Albacete defender Javi Moreno has spoken about the differences between Barcelona and Real Madrid after playing both teams in the Copa del Rey this season
.Los Blancos were dumped out of the competition by Albacete in manager Alvaro Arbeloa’s first game in charge but were beaten in the quarter-finals by Hansi Flick’s side.
Moreno was asked about the two sides after the game and shared his thoughts.
“Is it very different playing against Real Madrid or Barcelona? Yes and no. You’re always talking about
top-level players who you know can pull off an upset at any moment.
“But I think there’s much more order at Barcelona than at Real Madrid, who are more chaotic. But on the other hand, that makes Barcelona more predictable.
“We knew about the quality they had going in behind, you know that they are going to look for Lamine Yamal, for Rashford, playing diagonally. Ultimately, you know what their resources are, but the thing is many of the passes are inch-perfect.”
Moreno managed to pull a goal back for Albacete on Tuesday night but it wasn’t enough for the hosts as Barca progress to the last four.
