Bayern Munich center-back Jonathan Tah could see a marked difference between his team’s two halves against FC Köln on Wednesday.
“Köln did well, as they did in the cup game. It’s a hard-earned win. It was
clear that it wasn’t going to be an easy game. We had one or two opportunities in the first half. In the second half we were maybe a bit tidier on the ball, and as a result created more chances, which then led to it working out in the end,” Tah said (as captured by FCBayern.com)
Bayern Munich’s ability to find ways to eventually break their opponents is an admirable trait for a team to have. Even with FC Köln playing a fast, strong, and physical style, Bayern Munich was eventually able to overwhelm them with consistent offense pressure.
With Harry Kane, Michael Olise, and Luis Díaz all leading the way, it might be tough for any team to fully contain this Bayern Munich attack for a full 90 minutes.
