Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver DK Metcalf has been suspended two games by the NFL, per Adam Schefter of ESPN. Metcalf made contact with a fan during the Steelers’ win over the Detroit Lions.
“NFL suspended
Steelers WR D.K. Metcalf two games for the swipe he took at a fan during Sunday’s game in Detroit,” Schefter reports. “Metcalf still can appeal, but he now is slated to miss the Steelers’ upcoming potential game vs. the Browns.”
This means that for the remainder of the regular season, the Steelers will be without their No. 1 receiver. They will face the Cleveland Browns next Sunday in a game that could see them wrap up the AFC North with a win.
