The AFC South is looking like the Jacksonville Jaguars division to lose through three weeks. They improved to 2-1 with a 35-6 beatdown of Mike Vrabel’s New England Patriots. Trevor Lawrence only threw for 182 yards, but he threw 3 touchdowns. The pairing of Lawrence and Liam Coen looks like a problem for the rest of the division. In the words of Michael Scott, “Nope. Don’t love that.”
Things are not going so well for the Houston Texans. They dropped to 0-3 after losing 19-17 to the Indianapolis Colts.
There was talk before the season that the Texans would be a Super Bowl contender this year. Their next three are against the Dallas Cowboys, Tennessee Titans, and Jacksonville Jaguars. Anything less than 2-1 in that stretch might put them in a hole too deep to dig out of.
That win was big for the Colts. It was Indianapolis’s first win since November 9th of last season. Your Tennessee Titans still have more wins in that time period than the Colts.
