The weekend to crown ten conference champions begins tonight, with 18 teams vying for berths in this year’s College Football Playoff and for the rankings that will determine bowl destinations leading up
to the national championship game. Then, at Noon Sunday, the honorable, methodical, by-the-book, yet at the same time ingenious, playoff committee will release the official bracket for 2025’s College Football 12-team playoff.
One can only imagine the top officials of the ACC Conference will be anxiously drinking plenty of Bromo-Seltzer until the ACC Championship has been decided. If Duke beats Virginia, however, they might indulge in a bender until the bracket is unveiled on Sunday at noon. In that case, there’s a good chance the ACC Champion will be excluded from the College Football Playoff for the second time in three years. Additionally, how would a Duke victory impact FMFFM’s slight playoff hopes?
Feel free to share your predictions for the games you’re interested in, including which teams you are rooting for and how you think the bracket will turn out.
As for myself, I am hoping for CHAOS. COMPLETE AND TOTAL CHAOS. And of course, I want the ACC to be left out once again. If that happens, Nole fans can loudly yell out, ‘Who’s laughing now, b#tch#$.‘
