WWE’s Elimination Chamber heads to Chicago’s United Center next Saturday, Feb. 28, but fans who can’t make it to the Windy City can still catch the action live with fellow members of the WWE Universe.
Online ticketing service Fandango announced Tuesday that tickets are now on sale at select U.S. theaters. Kids get in free with the purchase of an adult ticket of equal or greater value, up to an $11 total ticket price.
The Theater Experience
My wife and I caught last month’s Royal Rumble at a local theater and had a blast. More than 100 fans showed up in their favorite superstar T-shirts, some even sporting championship belts. Unlike watching a movie, fans were free to chant and cheer, making it feel like we were in the arena.
The vibe can vary depending on the theater and turnout, but after my previous write-ups, our readers who watched the Rumble on the big screen shared their experiences. Here’s what they had to say.

I might cancel my ESPN sub and go for the premium theater experience for future shows. Definitely a lot of fun with the live WWE fan crowd! Highly recommend!
DuckyDan
…the crowd was awesome. It was like being in the arena with much better seats.
Ol Dude Chan
My only 2 mini gripes was they left the lights on the side on the whole time and they didn’t have the volume turned up enough. I really wanted to feel the bass on this entrances and hear the thuds on the mat.
CinemaBrain Wrestling
Our crowd was chattery, but never disruptive. They were loud for the big stars, shouting with excitement and shock as they entered and were eliminated… This was my first time watching a wrestling show at a cinema. I had an absolute blast and will definitely try to go back for Elimination Chamber and WrestleMania.
Let’s All Go to The Lobby
Last month, Fandango offered FanClub members a deal too good to pass up. Readers said they’d likely return to the theater if the price is right.
Beyond a fun night out, watching a WWE event with fellow fans is a great way to see who’s truly over. Online, it’s easy to get stuck in an echo chamber, but hearing live reactions offers perspective on why WWE backs certain performers — and can spark new appreciation by seeing them through others’ eyes.
As my wife and I gear up for WWE Elimination Chamber, I’m hoping our crowd is ready to sing “Cult of Personality” the moment CM Punk appears. In the past, I’ve likened such sing-alongs to a religious experience. At the very least, I hope for a crowd as spirited as one at a screening of Grease — and I hope to see you there.
