A downpour moved the start of Day 4 of Bengals training camp into their indoor practice facility, but they eventually moved back outside to the Kettering Health Practice Fields. Saturday was the final of a four-day stretch to start camp, with an off day tomorrow and the first day of pads on Monday.

This is really good to hear. If Charlie Goldsmith is saying this, take note. Charlie is on top of every facet of the Bengals, so what he’s saying carries a lot of weight.
Look, iron sharpens iron. That was the hope for the Bengals going into camp, and it appears as if that is exactly what’s happening. If it’s evenly matched between the offense and defense throughout camp, that’s the best-case scenario.

If the Bengals can hit plays like this in the regular season, good luck to any opposing defense trying to stop this offense. This is an absolute rainbow throw by Joe Burrow, and a terrific catch in stride by Andrei Iosivas. Every great wide receiver duo throughout NFL history has had that WR3 as their third wheel, and Iosivas can still be that for the Bengals.
Turner really had to work to get his hands on the football and break it up from Chase, which he did. Those two have been going at it throughout Training Camp, most notably in the scuffle that broke out on Day 1.
This is Ja’Marr Chase at his best. Great route, great job getting the feet down, great ball control. You can’t defend this when Burrow and Chase are connecting like this.
Grown man. Even with all of the attention focusing on the defense in camp, the offensive line still matters. The fact that Ted Karras, one of the leaders of the Bengals’ offensive line, is describing the offensive line like this offers high expectations.
So much of the Bengals’ rebuilding of their offensive line has been focused on protecting Joe Burrow. But along with that is their ability and success in the running game. When the Bengals can run the football, that makes it even tougher to defend this offense.
Mitchell Tinsley has looked really good in camp. For what it’s worth, go back and watch the Bengals win in Baltimore on Thanksgiving last season. Tinsley was spectacular in that game. The Bengals may need him at various points this season, so it’s really encouraging to see him perform through the first four days of camp.
There is clearly a different energy about the Bengals’ defense in camp, and it’s largely due to Dexter Lawrence. You can’t put a cap on the value of him being here. That’s a high compliment to pay any player.
Ted Karras is keeping it real. Again, iron is sharpening iron. For the record, that 2016 Patriots’ defensive line included Chris Long, on a defense that led the NFL in scoring and finished eighth in yards allowed per game.
Yup, the tone has been set. Pads go on Monday. It’s going to start to get real.
