Three Iowa State coaches will be joining Matt Campbell at Penn State:
Taylor Mouser will come on board as Penn State’s new offensive coordinator. Ryan Clanton is the new offensive line coach, and Deon Broomfield is listed as a secondary
defensive coordinator.
This seems like it would be the end of the Andy Kotelnicki era at Penn State, and Phil Trautwein will also be looking elsewhere for a job.
Anthony Poindexter has been Penn State’s safeties coach since 2021, and his title has also included co-defensive coordinator. It remains unclear what his role will be going forward, or if he, too, will be heading to a new locale in 2026.
